Talking About Food And Cooking

Hi everyone, my name is Molly. Welcome to my site. I am here to talk to you about food and cooking. As I started attending college, I realized I had very little knowledge about cooking. I always enjoyed my mom’s home-cooked meals and rarely ever cooked anything for myself. In college, I was on my own. I decided against eating ramen every day and picked up a cook book instead. I learned about making simple and complex dishes using a limited amount of space and equipment. I would like to explore this topic in more detail on this site. Thanks for coming by.

Fast Track Your Morning Routine: Stop Spending Time In The Kitchen

One of the most bothersome things in the morning is dealing with your morning breakfast routine. It can take so much time to cook a healthy breakfast that many people either run late every day, or else they take shortcuts and end up making food that is not that healthy for them. The idea that breakfast is great for you is very popular and well established, and there is a lot of validity to it. The fact is that eating a proper breakfast is important, but it is also important that you eat the right foods. So, with those considerations in mind, this article will help you create a breakfast that is both healthy as well as fast to whip up. Here are some tips:

Overnight Oats: Faster Then Morning Oatmeal

One of the healthiest things you can eat for breakfast is oatmeal. This is because oatmeal has a lot of heart healthy fiber. Also, oats are one of the simplest foods to prepare ahead of time and save you time in the morning. One of the coolest things you can do is prepare what is known as overnight oats. These are made by taking oats and placing them in a mason jar and adding a liquid such as almond milk or rice milk. In addition to the liquid, you should also add things such as fruits and other things dried fruits or nuts. You can then soak the oats overnight, and in the morning you will be able to eat the oats as they will have softened during the night.

Frozen Fruit: Simpler In The Preparation

You don't want to have real fruit to deal with. Real fruit requires a great deal of preparation and can be very messy. This is why so many people don't like to deal with fresh fruit. A great alternative is frozen fruit. This is perfect because the fruit is already prepared and easily used. You can get bags of frozen fruits and then use these to make things such overnight oats and even smoothies. What you can do is look into getting big bags of frozen fruits and then parsing them into separate containers so that you will have easy access to them during the week.

K-Cups For Easy Coffee

Coffee is one of most important things that most people have during the morning. Many people love to brew large pots, but this can be difficult because of the time involved with brewing coffee. This takes time and it will also potentially cause a lot of waste. The coffee you brew will end up not being drunk in many cases, and so you end up ditching it. This is why you should invest in a product like Starbucks K cup pods that will allow you brew a single cup of strong coffee for the morning.
