Talking About Food And Cooking

Hi everyone, my name is Molly. Welcome to my site. I am here to talk to you about food and cooking. As I started attending college, I realized I had very little knowledge about cooking. I always enjoyed my mom’s home-cooked meals and rarely ever cooked anything for myself. In college, I was on my own. I decided against eating ramen every day and picked up a cook book instead. I learned about making simple and complex dishes using a limited amount of space and equipment. I would like to explore this topic in more detail on this site. Thanks for coming by.

Ways To Incorporate Colombian Coffee Into Your Meal Plans

Most people think of Columbian coffee and their mind goes to coffee and coffee mixes. It may surprise you to find out there are multiple ways you can incorporate coffee into your weekly meal plans. Here are several ways you can incorporate your whole bean Colombian coffee beans. Each of these methods gives you a different way to incorporate the beans and create a meal plan that is unique.

Coffee Desserts

One of the leading places you can use your Colombian coffee is in the dessert category. One of the easier dishes you can create is chocolate mousse. This is a quick and easy dessert that can be made several different ways. By adding espresso ground coffee, you can elevate the flavor of the dessert. This makes it ideal for an adult dinner party or for a special occasion dinner gathering. You can also add the coffee based on the tastes of your guests. This makes it more personal and offers a higher level of experience.

Baked Beans Elevated

Baked beans are a side dish that finds its way into multiple meal plans each week. The problem with baked beans is there are only a few ways to make them. You can add bacon to them as well as certain sauces. However, one of the additions you may not think of is coffee. Coffee can be brewed and added directly into the bean sauce. This gives it a flavor boost and can create a tangier baked bean side dish. Colombian coffee is ideal for this as it adds a richer flavor than most coffees.

Beef Dishes

Beef is something that you see paired with coffee at steak houses and other locations. The pairing, however, is usually with the coffee as a side drink rather than as part of the dish. By brewing a strong cup of Colombian coffee and reducing it into a sauce, you can add a boost to your beef dishes. The coffee can be incorporated and reduced into the sauces for beef dishes such as pot roast. You can also adjust the coffee level depending on the tastes of your family or the dish itself.

When you begin to work on these ideas, you should keep one key point in mind. Make sure the beans you buy are high quality. Also, make sure you have the right tools to create the meals with your Colombian coffee beans. Having the proper coffee grinders and other equipment will go a long way to creating the ideal coffee-enhanced meals for your meal plan.
